Same here, I'd love to have a pool of my own someday. Right now my girlfriend and I are living with her folks until we're back on our feet again. Once we move out, we might move to some apartment complex with a pool. That'd be nice. :) With the heat index it felt like 109 degrees today!

Ah, a pool.  Mother Nature’s answer to outdoor air-conditioning.

When when little dogs pass away, I will more than likely move into an apartment.

Good afternoon everyone! It's been too hot here in Missouri lately, I work in a non climate controlled warehouse so it gets hot! Thankfully I was off today and it's the weekend!

Yep, it’s time like this that I find myself wishing for a pool.

LOL ... that’s too funny.  Meg learned the hard way about cats and cars when she figured she would hold her cat on her lap while driving.  He peed on her. LOL

hahahahaha.... not.  You'd think I was killing him an inch at a time, the way he howled... and what's worse, I kept apologizing to him!  ROFL

Kitty was the last to arrive last night which was pretty traumatic for him, he's been sniffing around but mostly hiding for now. I'm just giving him the time he needs, poor little guy.

(Note to self: invest in a set of welding gloves for the next time I have to get him into the cat carrier...)

Kitties hate moving.  I live with Meg and we currently have five cats.  They are such a joy to take in the car.

Sure, I've never been to the places you mentioned. :)

In the midst of the actually moving day right now. Boxes everywhere.

I feel for you.  Moving sucks.  When something happens to my little dogs, I may downsize.

If you live close to the coast, the weather is pretty monotonously perfect.  :) Because I'm about 15 miles inland, I get a bit more variety, which is nice. In 2016 I lived within walking distance of the harbor, and let me tell you the weather is about as interesting as watching paint dry. (Of course that's much preferable to a hurricane or a tornado....)

When I lived in California, I spent most of my years in Concord.  I moved (for the first time in my life) to Suisun when I got married in 1984.  When I got divorced, in moved back to Concord and then a few years later moved to Antioch and then Lower Lake, CA followed by Clearlake, CA.  The first time I moved to a different state was in 2005 after my dad's death.

If you are interested, I will post pics of same of the places me and the kids lived.  Hint:  the nicer homes belonged to my in-laws and parents.  LOL

Being a single mom is less glamorous than it might seem.

Good afternoon.

Summer in SoCal, it's 90 degrees (because I don't live on the beach, in which case it would be 74 degrees).

I wouldn't hate summer so much if I lived on the beach...

Howdy Anna.  You are so lucky.  I miss Cali weather.
